Here at Greenpeace, we are looking for a passionate IT support specialist to join our help desk Team, and play a key role in the delivery of a brilliant service and first class technical support across our growing organisation.
About this exciting opportunity
In this role, you will provide local IT and desktop support by troubleshooting, diagnosing, installing and configuring a variety of hardware and software. You will also assist in application support issues, such as access provisioning and various app configuration changes. As an IT support specialist, you exhibit a high level of professionalism in providing excellent customer service and exercising sound judgment to provide timely resolution of problems. You will maintain in-depth knowledge of key desktop systems, applications, and technologies.
You will need to have experience of providing strong customer service within a technical role and will possess a good working knowledge of Windows and Mac family of desktop operating systems, Google Apps, and Microsoft Office applications. You will have experience in inducting staff in computer applications – both formally in small group sessions, and less formally with individual users at their desk and be familiar with supporting mobile platforms, including Android & Ios.
